Court Adopts IPOB’s No Case Submission on Bogus Charges Against Biafra Agitators Detained in Ebonyi For Over a Year.
The Ebonyi state High court have today adopted a no case submission presented by the Indigeneous People of Biafra, IPOB on behalf of her members who have been detained at the state’ s correctional center for about a year now.
In a brief post made by IPOB’s Lead Counsel, Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor, the state had made bogus and unverifiable charges against these innocent people whose only crime is the demand for freedom.
According to Barrister Ejiofor, the case has been adjourned for ruling and they are very hopeful that justice would prevail in the end.
Ejiofor also noted that the brethren were very delighted to have his personal presence in court today as it boosted their hope towards their freedom from detention.
Below is the brief from Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor after his arrival to Abuja:
Greetings UmuChineke!
Yours truly was at the Ebonyi State High Court, Abakaliki today, 15th June, 2022, to represent Ezigbo UmuChineke that have been detained in the state’s correctional center since last year.
Our No-Case submission on the bogus charge preferred against them was adopted during todayโs proceedings, and consequently adjourned for Ruling.
We are optimistic that justice will prevail, and it will end in Praises soon!
These our brothers were exceedingly delighted to witness my presence in court today, which really impacted on their hope and belief that their freedom is near.
Thanking ChukwuOkike Abiama for safe flight back to Abuja.
Remain blessed, Ezigbo UmuChineke.
